ACR Accredited

The American College of Radiology (ACR) awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of its practice. Image quality and procedure evaluations are conducted by board-certified radiologists and medical physicists who are experts in the field.

The program also evaluates personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs. All findings are reported to the practice via a comprehensive report that includes recommendations for improvement.

Every DFW MRI facility has met and exceeded the stringent standards of the American College of Radiology and have been certified for all services provided at each location.

Why should I choose an ACR accredited facility?

When seeking medical care, proper diagnosis is essential to deciding the appropriate treatment for a patient. For a facility to be certified by the ACR their personnel have had to undergo extensive training, the equipment must be properly inspected for safety, and all protocols and images are reviewed by board-certified radiologists. When you choose DFW MRI for your imaging needs, you can rest assured that your patients are receiving the best medical care in the industry.

When you choose an ACR accredited facility you're guaranteed that:

  • Our facilities have voluntarily gone through a rigorous review process to be sure it meets nationally-accepted standards
  • Our personnel are well qualified, through education and certification, to perform and interpret your medical images and administer your radiation therapy treatments
  • Our equipment is appropriate for the test or treatment you will receive, and the facility meets or exceeds quality assurance and safety guidelines
